Сириус - Ремусу
      * * *
I never will know how it feels
When torture is breaking the night,
Moon rises and merciless steals
A sense and a hope and a light.

But god only knows how I hate
Their faces so frightened and mean
Who cruelly laugh at your fate,
Who hound you – as if it’s your sin…

Why you? Why the mildest of all,
Of nature most gentle and kind
Should play this unbearable role?
A fortune is mocking – or blind?…

I’ll never be able to share
Or ease, or take off all your pain,
And helpless in showing my care
So guilty I’m feeling again…
