Quirrel's Confession
I was so young, I've thought I knew the Right,
I yearned to fight for Good with all my might,
But I was so naive, I didn't see –
This kind of life was never meant for me.
Oh, I was born to serve the greater things,
And to my Master my soul ever clings.
He taught me there's no Evil and no Good,
It took a while before I understood.
But I have learned his lesson all by heart,
And from that time I knew we'd never part.
I've once sought to defense the world from Dark,
But light within me's down to one last spark.
My Lord has lead me to the deepest truth.
I've realized I've wasted all my youth
On stupid banal thoughts of righting Wrong.
And what he told me made my will so strong.
And yet, I'm feeling weak compared to him,
I have to follow at his any whim.
My Lord I shall not ever leave behind –
For he is always there, he rules my mind.
